Tattoo pigments, tattoo paint, permanent makeup paints, permanent pigments - all these are well-known or, rather, common synonyms that are applied to a more specific phrase: pigments for permanent makeup or pigments for micropigmentation!
What are the pigments for permanent makeup and how do they differ from each other?
Now a lot of information about the composition of pigments comes from incompetent sources and, most often, this assumption. We will provide you with information from the manufacturers, and you can be sure of its reliability.
Therefore…
The quality and properties of pigments depend not only on the origin of the dye, but also on the huge variety of binders, solvents and additives.
Dye or colorant can be mineral, ie inorganic (these are mainly various oxides of iron, titanium dioxide, chromium, ultramarine, iron ferrocyanide, etc.) which are extracted from the elements of the earth, purified and treated in a special way.
Colorant can also be synthetic, or it is also called organic. It is produced by complex chemical reactions.
The medium in which the dye is placed can have a fairly simple composition, for example: water, glycerin, alcohol, propylene glycol, PVP. And may contain acrylates, shellac, block copolymers, polyvinyl, other various surfactants, thickeners and preservatives.
The cost of pigment depends on the quality of the dye and the complexity of the composition of the medium in which this dye is placed.
The pigments presented by PMGROUP are very diverse in their composition, which allows all masters of permanent make-up, without exception, to find their pigment in their price segment for their favorite technique.
How to choose your pigment for work?
To choose the right pigment for a tattoo, you need to decide for yourself what properties, in your opinion, it should have.
You will probably think that the answer to this question is simple: good pigment coverage, 100% residue after healing, a variety of color palettes for permanent makeup of lips, eyebrows and even eyelids.
But in fact, to choose a pigment, you need to consider several important points, namely:
1. What equipment do you perform the PM procedure, which needles do you use in this or that zone. Pigments of one series may be suitable for a lip tattoo, and for a tattoo of eyebrows or eyelids of another, or even a pigment from another manufacturer.
2. What techniques you have, the hand moves quickly or slowly along the surface of the skin. Maybe you perform hair technique, where, as a rule, the movement of the hand is very slow and powdery, where on the contrary - quite fast.
3. It is enough for you that the client had a tattoo for 1-1.5 years and came to you for an update or a tattoo came off without a trace in a few years. Or maybe the opposite - kept stable for 5-7 years?
4. What color scheme impresses you? Do your clients like natural dull shades, or vice versa - brighter?
It is worth noting at once that the master never lacks pigments that have identical properties.
If you are just learning and worrying about your reputation, not quite sure about your work, you need unstable tattoo pigments that will gradually fade and come off the skin without a trace within 2-3 years or be quickly removed by laser in one session! Moreover, such pigments are simple and easy to use. Such properties are possessed by WizArt pigments of the ORGANIC series or Goldeneye COLORESSENSE pigments.
If you are overlaying and fixing an old or poor quality tattoo, you will need durable WizArt STRONG pigments. On the eyebrows, these pigments can last more than 3-4 years. Pigment series and WizArt STRONG and WizArt ORGANIC are suitable for your lips. They will not last 5 years, but are quite well stored for 2-3 years.
If you like hair technology, WizArt INORGANIC pigments are perfect for you.
Those who like thick pigments will love WizArt MICROBLADING pigments. These pigments are recommended for manual and hardware techniques, have a higher concentration of colorant than pigments of the ORGANIC series, but still not as high as in WizArt STRONG pigments.
Goldeneye COLORESSENSE pigments made in Germany differ slightly in composition from the pigments of the American company WizArt. Colors are softer and restrained. These pigments are preferred by masters for the most demanding customers!
